New Technology Helps IT Job Seekers Open Doors

New service enables candidates to stand out with electronic career showcases

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA (PRWEB) November 11, 2003 -- IT Pro Network, Inc. unveiled today the latest development in the use of 21st Century communications technology to assist IT job seekers.

The company announced an integrated suite of five electronic career solutions which work together to give candidates competitive advantages in the IT job marketplace.

Called TurboCareerIT, these new solutions focus on the use of the internet to attract attention, create more powerful telephone interviews, strengthen personal interviews, and maximize the effectiveness of business networking.

TurboCareerIT users deploy eye-catching color e-mail advertisements of their key career assets to help spark interest among prospective employers.

These ads, dubbed me-mail," link to an online flash showcase summarizing key elements of the candidates value proposition.

Our flash web portfolios give IT job seekers professionally-designed, compelling presentations of their most significant strengths and achievements," stated IT Pro Talent CEO John Mee. We use advertising psychology and the visual power of the internet to help our clients open doors for interviews," he added.

During telephone interviews, candidates co-browse a personal online career showcase with prospective employers over the internet, visually showing and explaining their achievements. This showcase, called a career web portfolio, is the centerpiece of IT Pro Talents system. It provides a universally-accessible, interactive demonstration of a professionals career strengths. Using graphs, charts, and images, along with advertising psychology, career web portfolios give IT Pro Talents clients a powerful new tool for advancing their career interests.

Psychological tests have proven that people remember 11% of what they read, 20% of what they hear, 27% of what they see, and 52% of what they both hear and see," Mee explained. Co-browsing a career web portfolio can yield 400% more impact than a resume alone, which helps our clients stand out from the crowd and secure personal interviews."

Once in the door, candidates can strengthen their live presentation with a portable portfolio featuring graphs and charts which quantify the value they can deliver, thereby increasing their chances of employment. The portfolio can be displayed on a pocket pc or a tablet pc.

After they are hired, users can deploy their portfolios to acquaint co-workers with their background and skills, paving the way for effective new working relationships.

As time progresses, customers can enhance their portfolios, and use them to increase the effectiveness of their business networking activity to advance their careers.

Building the portfolios is straightforward and uncomplicated. Clients simply upload plain text and images, and IT Pro Talent produces the sites. Prices start at $69 and include three months of free hosting.
