Jeff Remas of REMAS Inspections, Inc. has earned certification with the PA-DEP for radon testing utilizing the continuous monitor (CRM). The CRM is an advanced electric radon monitoring device that measures and records radon levels each hour.

Remas, President of REMAS Inspections, Inc. has successfully completed training and passed testing to earn certification with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for radon testing utilizing the continious monitor. This certification allows REMAS Inspections, Inc. to perform radon testing utilizing the continuous monitor (CRM) which records radon levels each hour during the testing period. The continuous monitor is an advanced electronic device that is more accurate than the commonly used charcoal canisters and the electric ion chamber, both which require at least two devices to be placed for testing versus one continuous monitor. The continuous monitor has built in tamper-resistant features and provides the client with a readout and graph of the levels during the test.
