Urban Teen Scene magazine makes its mark with teens across the U.S. & Canada with a magazine that is truly FOR TEENS, BY TEENS".

Long Island, New York: Fueled by the passion and talent of teens around the country, Urban Teen Scene has created the perfect fusion between social issues and significant teen interests, such as celebrities, music, fashion, beauty, gear and technology.

Urban Teen Scene is not afraid to address and conquer the tough issues affecting teens today. What better way to bring awareness to teens, issues such as AIDS, teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse, obesity, self-esteem, war and other pertinent topics, than through the voice of their peers?

Over 75% of the editorial content in UTS is researched, written, & reported on by urban teens. Participating teens not only have a voice, but also learn valuable skill sets like writing, interviewing, researching, polling, thinking objectively and organizing their thoughts and ideas in ways that can be easily communicated to others.

In an environment that is cluttered with magazines geared toward our delicate and impressionable teen audience, Urban Teen Scene does a phenomenal job of providing clean entertainment for urban-minded teens in a way that allows them to see images that are a true reflection of themselves, their interests, and their culture.

This Just In!
20-year-old Devin Lazerine, the founder of Rap-Up magazine has recently joined the UTS family as Editor-In-Chief and Co-Publisher of Rap-Up magazine. (Devin was 16 years old when he began his quest to bring Rap-Up magazine to life.) Currently a 16-page insert in Urban Teen Scene magazine and soon to be a stand-alone publication, Rap-Up, in Devins own words, is Hip-Hops newest home for young people by young people." Chock full of music facts, reviews, celebrity interviews and lifestyle articles focused on musics current chart-makers, Devin puts a fresh, original spin on the world of Hip-Hop & R&B.

Urban Teen Scene is published 8 times a year and Rap-Up is published on a quarterly schedule. Together they are a perfect blend, giving teens a hot, new, urban-inspired magazine to look forward to each month.

The next issue of Urban Teen Scene with the 16-Page Rap-Up magazine insert will be available on newsstands November 25, 2003. Also, check out www.urbanteenscene.com and www.rap-up.com.
