New booking service for small vacation properties announces pre-registration and beta testing.

Service would make booking vacant rooms for small property owners as simple as responding to an instant message.

Midwest Media Partners, parent company of RoomSnap.Com, announced today that their new booking service for small vacation properties is nearing completion.

The service, dubbed, "Where rooms come to you", promises to make the room-booking process for small vacation property owners streamlined and economical.

An innovative matching and bidding service will bring last-minute vacationers together with small resorts, inns, and other properties with vacancies. Without commissions on bookings, the service promises to be a boon for vacation property owners during the upcoming slow period typically experienced during the post-holiday months.

Founded by a frustrated vacationer who had difficulty finding a last minute getaway, she created the service to make the process of booking single rooms at small properties easy and affordable. "The process of booking a room at an inn by simply calling and emailing to check on vacancies was frustrating and wasted a great deal of time. I knew there had to be a way to make it easier for customers like myself, and also for the property owners who were as frustrated as I was."

Using a unique bidding service, RoomSnap.Com will consolidate all room inquiries and related correspondence on one easy screen for both customers and property owners. SnapChat, an instant messaging system, will eliminate toll-calls, and SnapMail will save all mail and messages for future reference.

Customers will simply fill out one form, and property owners will bid on each customer's business. All final bookings are managed privately by the parties, and no commissions are charged for successfully booked rooms.

The site and service will launch January 2004 and is currently pre-registering properties interested in populating the site the day of launch.
