Empire Plastics Inc. receives FM Global listing for 3rd product.

Empire Plastics was formally listed on October 27th ,2003 as conforming to the Factory Mutual Research (FM GLOBAL) 4910 protocol. This test is for Clean room materials flammability and Class 4910 listed sheets resist fire propagation, emit little if any smoke, produce few if any corrosive byproducts.

The new product designated as Boltaron 4910 is the 3rd such Boltaron product to receive the Class 4910 listing. The new product will be extruded and is monolithic in design. The other two products, designated as Boltaron 4225 bright white and Boltaron 4325 Clear were previously listed as Class 4910. The new Boltaron 4910 is thermoformable, machineable and weldable, just like the other Boltaron Class 4910 products. Applications for this product include cabinetry for semi conductor wet bench and other applications where exposure to highly corrosive chemicals occurs.
