The Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) and the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) practice test. Each test sells for $39.95, covers the full objectives for their respective exams and can be purchased at www.boson.com.
The Boson Certified Wireless Security Professional test consists of 205 questions that cover all of the listed objectives for the CWSP (PW0-200) certification exam offered by Planet3 Wireless, Inc.
The Boson Certified Network Administrator tests #1 and #2 each contain 204 questions that cover all of the objectives for the CWNA (PW0-100) certification exam offered by Planet3 Wireless, Inc.
According to Planet 3, the PW0-100(CWNA) exam is the foundation level wireless LAN certification exam and the starting point for future wireless training and certification. The exam covers a broad range of wireless LAN topics rather than specific vendors' products and by becoming certified, you become prepared to administer any wireless LAN, regardless of which vendors' products are used. Some of the concepts covered are security, site surveys, and radio frequency technologies. To become certified, the test taker must score a minimum of 70% on the 90 question exam.
The PW0-200(CWSP) exam builds on the foundation of the CWNA certification by elaborating on the security threats to and weaknesses of wireless LANs. The main topics covered are hardware, software, protocols, procedures, and design techniques used in reducing wireless LAN security risks. CWNA certification is required before attempting the CWSP, and the candidate must score a minimum of 70% on the 60 question exam.
