ModViz Announces Availability of its RenderizerTM Visualization Cluster Software for Windows

ModViz, Inc., a leader in parallel rendering and visualization cluster software, is pleased to announce the availability of RenderizerTM Visualization Cluster Software for Microsoft Windows.

Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) November 15, 2003 -- ModViz, Inc., a leader in parallel rendering and visualization cluster software, is pleased to announce the availability of RenderizerTM Visualization Cluster Software for Microsoft Windows.

RenderizerTM Visualization Cluster Software from ModViz offers real-time data distribution, synchronization and load balancing capabilities, and helps to enable high-end visualization and scalable parallel rendering on workstation clusters. RenderizerTM Software Development Kit (SDK) hides the complexity of a cluster and provides developers an efficient way to port single system applications to clusters. No parallelization of existing application code is required.

Microsoft Windows-based solutions are gaining acceptance in the high performance computing space due to their ever-improving performance, scalability, development environment and attractive cost structure. The introduction of ModViz Renderizer visualization cluster software to the Microsoft Windows cluster solution suite brings high performance visualization capabilities to the existing Windows users. Technical and scientific application users in the fields of oil and gas seismic data analysis and visualization, manufacturing design and engineering simulation, government and defense visual simulation, biomedical are now able to deploy their existing applications to Windows-based clusters.

Shing Pan, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for ModViz, said, "The porting of ModVizs Renderizer Viz Cluster Software to Windows platform is an important milestone for ModViz as well as the visualization community. This latest release brings our software into compatibility with existing Windows-based technology platforms already in standard use, and will truly enable the wide adoption of high performance visualization by the mainstream users."

The collaboration between Microsoft and ModViz demonstrates the maturity of Windows-based clusters for the visualization community," states Greg Rankich, HPC Solution Manager, Microsoft Corporation. We are very pleased with the market response to this collaboration and are looking forward as more application vendors address the immediate needs of their customers by deploying ModViz Renderizer."
