Carmel has signed agreements with six of Israels leading boutique wineries to represent them around the world in export markets. Each winery represents different regions and styles of wine throughout Israel. Where possible the wines will be distributed together, and even where existing agreements are in place, joint public relations and marketing events will be held collectively.

Boutique Wineries and Carmel form Marketing Pact
Rishon-le-Zion, Israel, November 4, 2003: Carmel has signed agreements with six of Israels leading boutique wineries to represent them around the world in export markets. The wineries, which Carmel will work with include: Domaine du Castel, (whose agreement with Carmel was the first to be announced at the beginning of October), Amphorae, Bazelet ha Golan, Chillag, Saslove, and Tsora. Carmels two boutique wineries-- Yatir and the new boutique winery at Zichron (soon to be named) will also be added to this group.
Carmel has gathered together a select group of wineries each representing different regions and styles of wine throughout Israel. Where possible the wines will be distributed together, and even where existing agreements are in place, joint public relations and marketing events will be held collectively.
The combination of Carmel and the boutique wineries is intended to present ' the very best of Israel. David Ziv, CEO of Carmel explains, Our aim is to show the quality and variety of the Israeli wine industry-and with the boutique wineries and Carmel together, to advance the image of Israel as a quality wine producing country."
Carmel is Israels oldest exporter, setting up its first export company Carmel Wine Company" in 1895. Today it remains Israels number one producer and exporter of wine selling to over 40 countries in all five continents.
NOTE: Some of the wineries already have their own distributors in various countries. In instances like this, their wines might not be distributed with Carmels. However the marketing and public relations will be combined to advance the brand ' Israel.
