UPDATE YOUR 'DO

Wrap Star Introduces New Styles for Spring

Los Angeles, CA -- November 2003 -- Contemplating a new hairstyle for spring? Before shelling out a couple hundred bucks at an overpriced salon, Wrap Star, the head band that doesnt give you a headache," offers some affordable solutions for updating your 'do for the season.

Created by Robin Tolkan-Doyle, Wrap Star head wraps - favorites of Kelly Osbourne, Mariah Carey, Drew Barrymore, Beyonce Knowles, Jessica Simpson, Soleil Moon Frye and the Olsen Twins, among others - are swanky hair accessories that are a fashionable blend of old-Hollywood glamour and todays sophisticated style. The new Wrap Stars include:

Silk Shantung:
•   Who needs some exotic island locale when you have your own private Lagoon, a rich turquoise?
•   Like a fine merlot, Grapevine (a deep amethyst) is perfect for girls night out.
•   Flaunt your girlie-girl side with Pretty in Purple, a soft lilac.
Microsuede:
•   Make your baby blues really stand out with Baby Boy, a soft powder blue.
•   Vanilla Clouds (milky white) compliments any of the seasons color palettes perfectly.
•   Youll look sugary-sweet in Caramel Candy, a soft brown.
•   Skip the java and get a faux fix of caffeine with Cafe Au Lait, a rich coffee.
•   Soft pastels are all the rage for spring. Lavender Fields, a delicate purple, will help you show off another spring must-have: chandelier earrings.

•   Perfect for a day at Montauk or for strolling in the Hamptons, Pink Ladies features a variety of silhouettes of ladies who lunch" in bubble gum pink hues.
•   Wake your inner wild child with Party Girl (retro print of pin-up girls with colorful polka dots on an off-white background).

Wrap Star Head Wraps are available in two lengths: short and long. The short ones wrap around your head once, while the long ones wrap around twice - giving the appearance of a wider head band. Both lengths have a discreet plastic comb on the underside, which helps secure the material in your hair. And both knot and/or bow at the back of your neck.

Wrap Star products are currently sold at several national retail outlets including Fred Segal, Henri Bendel and at www.wrap-star.com.
