Carrie-Ann Brady, owner of A Creative Concept, a customized business service specializing in desktop publishing, gift baskets and marketing in Hollywood, has seen the stress many companies have suffered over choosing quality holiday gifts for their clients. Over the past 5 years, Carrie-Ann has helped create quality gifts for her clients all over the world. Carrie-Ann has seen first hand the stress some of her first-time clients have gone through before giving her a call; she offers these suggestions to reduce your holiday stress:
1.)   Know Your Spending Limit Before Getting In The Car
As simple as that may be, Carrie-Ann has found many people first start out by         walking down every aisle in the store looking for the perfect gift. By planning ahead of    time, you can avoid standing in the middle of the aisle trying to calculate the cost of each item to stay within your budget. If you know your budget allows for $15.00 per gift, you will be able to zone in on selections within your budget and cut your shopping time dramatically.
2.)   Research, Research, Research
If you know, your spending limit is $15.00 per gift, shop store fliers before going to the store. Now is the time of the year where retailers are competitive with their prices, most stores offer the same or comparable item, by shopping the sales ads before going you will save time, gas, and energy. Also, search the web for the retailer or the items discount codes.
For example, type discount codes into your search engine, there is a plentitude of codes available for most retailers.
3.)   Make A List and Check It Twice
Know exactly how many gifts you need to buy before going to the store. Now is the time when the stores and their parking lots become overcrowded, your stress levels rise just by driving into the parking lot. Without a list, you may forget a few names before walking in the door. Be sure to remember to buy enough wrapping paper, bows, tape, and cards too.
4.)   Start Early
Every year a New Years Resolution is made to buy holiday gifts early the next year. Its still not too late to do that. If you have to ship your packages, be sure to check around for the most cost effective shipping options and know the deadlines to ensure your packages are received on time. Standing in line to ship your gifts is not fun, especially if you have other tasks still to do. Holiday lines can be the most stressful lines to wait in.
