SALEM, New Hampshire, USA, (PRWEB) November 18, 2003 - By announcing today the release of Prof-UIS-AX 2.0, FOSS Software Inc. made a next step towards meeting the needs of software developers for easy-to-use COM compatible tools for creating up-to-date graphical user interfaces.
Prof-UIS-AX is an ActiveX version of Professional User Interface Suite, an MFC extension library allowing C++ developers to provide their applications with a professional and user-friendly interface like that available in the newest Microsoft products including Office 2003 and Visual Studio .NET 2003.
With Prof-UIS-AX, VB or C# developers can now leverage modern GUI not available in the standard development tools. Version 2.0 offers a set of new features and improvements including the Toolbox control, on-the-fly changeable Microsoft Office 2000/XP/2003 appearance, a set of animation effects and more. The release comes with VB and C# sample applications highlighting functionality of the library.
Vladimir Nekrachevitch, company CEO, said, Our aim in this project [Prof-UIS-AX] is to give Windows programmers who dont use C++ a non expensive library that would easily and quickly allow them to wrap their applications into a feature-rich GUI shell with modern look and feel. And that ultimately should help them improve the competitiveness of their products and increase sales."
