Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Selects Abovo Group to Help Expand Atlantas Logistics Industry

Abovo to support new logistics vision and initiatives

ATLANTA, November 19, 2003- Abovo Group, a marketing transformation firm, today announced the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MACOC) has selected Abovo to help it market the Atlanta region as the place the world turns for logistics solutions. Abovo will provide marketing services to advance the goals of the MACOCs newly formed Metro Atlanta Logistics Industry Council.

Goals of this strategic alliance of logistics and transportation industry leaders include increasing logistics jobs and air cargo volume in Atlanta, establishing a global center for innovation in logistics, and improving the infrastructure and connectivity across Atlanta.

Abovo was selected for its strategic marketing capabilities and experience in logistics, supply chain and other service sectors. As a member of the MACOC Board of Advisors, Abovo will be working closely with Atlantas business leadership and the Council to improve Atlantas already impressive rankings as the nations fourth largest logistics region with 84,000 jobs, leader in third-party logistics service providers, and fourth in number of logistics software firms.
