(November 29-, 2003, New York, NY) -- DeVoe Signatur Events will proudly launch "Dangerous Curves...The Tour" --Hips, Heels, & Curves, the hot new traveling runway fashion show and designer sample sale, on Saturday, November 29th at the elegant Sheraton LaGuardia East in Flushing, NY. Beautiful and curvy models of all ages and sizes will blaze the runway wearing fashionable designs created for todays curvy" woman.
The New York City premiere of Dangerous Curves...The Tour" --Hips, Heels, & Curves will showcase collections from some of the countrys most up-n-coming designers from New York, Los Angeles, CA, Washington, DC, and Miami, Florida. Curvy & Fabulous models will unite the world of Madison Avenue fashion with the latest plus size styles in urban, couture, and funky, eclectic one-of-a-kind collections. After the runway show, a Designer Trunk Sale will be held to allow guests the opportunity to purchase exclusive featured designs at special discounted prices- just in time for the holiday season!
In keeping within the season of giving, DeVoe Signatur Events is proud to support QUALITY SERVICES FOR THE AUTISM COMMUNITY (QSAC), a Queens community-based award winning not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing direct services to persons with Autism or PDD (pervasive developmental disorder) and their families. DeVoe Signatur Events will be donating proceeds paid by participating exhibition sponsors advertising and promoting their specialty holiday gift items.

Gwendolyn DeVoe, CEO & Executive Producer of DeVoe Signatur Events, is a former plus size model and pageant queen who unites plus model training, development, and management. Gwen has been a long time advocate and supporter of increasing awareness of fuller figures on fashion runways. In 1998, she successfully opened the Plus Academy, one of New Yorks first model training and beauty programs for the plus size woman.
