New Alliance With Leading eAutomation Platform Products Provider Allows Users Of Teletrols eBuilding Internet-Powered Facility Management System To Expand Networks With Cost-Effective Hubs And Switches.

Manchester, New Hampshire (November 21, 2003) – Teletrol Systems Inc., an industry leader in building automation technology, announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Advantech Co., Ltd.. The alliance will enable Teletrol Systems to offer advanced, cost-effective Ethernet hub and switch technology with its recently launched eBuilding Internet-powered facility management system.

Teletrols eBuilding, an IT-friendly, Internet-powered facility management system is an integrated, complete set of precision building automation control products with the latest Internet and information systems technology. Features include web browser access to operator screens and system information; BACnet/IP over Ethernet for controller communication; Internet access for logic and screen updates through standard firewalls without special ports; and graphical, object-oriented block programming. eBuilding is an advanced building management solution that gives building managers and owners the tools and technology they need for efficient energy management, comfort control and facility monitoring.
