James Abt, who has more than 10 years experience as a marketing strategist and journalist. Before founding LDC, James worked closely with pioneers of hi-tech public relations, Ed Niehaus and Bill Ryan, whose claims to fame include: the launch and five-year relationship with Yahoo!, the introduction of Apple's iMac and the launch of Covisint. Under their tutelage, he developed an aggressive and effective approach to communications methodology. As a result, James managed many of Niehaus Ryan Wong/Ryan Communications' largest and most successful accounts including: Concur Technologies, Vixel, Asera, Bidcom and Ninth House Network. For his work, James received a number of awards and was promoted more rapidly than any employee in the history of the firm.
Bill Bennett, who has spent more than 20 years implementing marketing and communications strategies, including the development and management of advertising, public relations, investor relations and market research programs for organizations as diverse as Levi Strauss & Co., Toshiba, The Smithsonian Institution, Bell Atlantic, Sun Microsystems and Business 2.0.
Among his many accomplishments, Bill's work as the executive producer of the Smithsonian Collection of Recordings resulted in a string of Grammy Awards for the national museum's record label, while tripling their revenue.
Christina M. Dau, who brings more than 25 years of journalism and marketing experience to the LDC team, has served as a media consultant for the Republican Party and managed the communications outreach for several leading organizations in the private sector. Christina has contributed to a number of nationally successful books and provides commentary for various media, including National Public Radio. As a freelance journalist, Christina has written features on personalities such as: Herbert V. Kohler Jr., President of The Kohler Company; John Rigas of Adelphia Communications; Eve Ensler, award-winning author of "The Vagina Monologues;" Hall-of-Fame Quarterback, Jim Kelly; Katherine Keough, former Reagan Cabinet Member and current president of St. John Fisher University; Dick Marconi, co-founder of Herbalife Supplements; and Dave Brubeck, internationally-known jazz pianist and composer.
Christian Scarborough, who brings more than 11 years of marketing communications and public relations experience to LDC, has developed campaigns for highly-recognizable companies, including Yahoo!, Interwoven, Vignette, Domino's Pizza, Xerox, Sprint and Ford Motor Company.
