NASSAU CHAPTER OF NYSSCPA NAMES MARK MEINBERG TO BOARD

Syosset, NY...November 18, 2003...Mark L. Meinberg, CPA, managing partner of Feldman, Meinberg & Co., LLP, Syosset, has been named a member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

Syosset, NY...November 18, 2003...Mark L. Meinberg, CPA, managing partner of Feldman, Meinberg & Co., LLP, Syosset, has been named a member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
   Recently selected as chairman of the organizations Management of an Accounting Practice Committee, Mr. Meinberg has been active in the Society for the past 17 years. He has served on several committees including the Accounting & Auditing and Cooperation with Bankers Committees.
The Chapter has been extremely important to me," he noted, It has provided me with a forum for professional development as well as a means of promoting the accounting profession as an exciting and stimulating career. Each of us is dedicated to increasing our skills and providing our best for our clients."
   Mr. Meinberg began his career with Coopers & Lybrand and was an audit manager at Arthur Young & Company before joining FM & Co. in 1985. In addition to his responsibilities as managing partner at the firm, he has successfully represented clients into and out of Chapter 11 filings. He is qualified as an expert witness in litigation and Bankruptcy Court proceedings and is often called upon to provide testimony.
   A member of the NYSSCPA Managing Partners Committee, he is founder and chairman of the Regional Small-Size Managing Partners Forum and serves on Supervisor Tom Suozzis Advisory Committee of the Nassau County Financial Project.
