Pancake Event Raises Money For Charity

Businessparc.com, the new internet company, held a pancake eating competition to raise money for Barnardo's.

The event took place on Southend High Street on the 11th October 2003 at 10am – 4pm and around 200 shoppers took part. Glenn Fowell of Westcliffe-on-Sea proved to be the overall winner when he managed to eat 22 pancakes in 60 minutes and he was the proud recipient of 100 prize money.

All monies raised by Businessparc.coms pancake eating event were sent to Barnardos, where all contributions are put towards helping to give children their future back.

I truly believe in contributing to childrens charities" said Grant Watling, founder of Businessparc.com. Any events that take place to raise money for charities are completely worthwhile and I know that all contributions will be extremely appreciated by all concerned."
