An African-American Novel with a JFK Twist

A haunting tale of suspense that centers on the secrets a young African-American girl took with her from Dealey Plaza the day JFK was shot.

Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) November 25, 2003 -- - The buzz about Peggy Eldridge-Love has become a rumble and rumor has it its about to become an earthquake. There is much anticipation building for the release in Spring 2004 of her debut novel The Knoll Frames, a haunting tale of suspense that centers on the secrets a young African-American girl took with her from Dealey Plaza the day JFK was shot. As a play, The Knoll Frames received a full-dress staged reading at the Unicorn Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri in 2002. It was also a winner in the CinemaTalk
Screenwriters Competition sponsored by The Writers Place and the
African American Film Society of Missouri and enjoyed a staged reading at The Writers Place as well.

Release of The Knoll Frames will come on the heels of the success
Peggy is enjoying from the subtle book of poetry entitled You Beckon
which is whetting imaginations everywhere. You don't
have to like poetry to absolutely love You Beckon, and if you do love
poetry, per reviewer Cynthia Moore, "Not only is there much to be
learned from this collection about the craft of writing poetry, there
is also a lot to FEEL, to PONDER, and to ENJOY. YOU BECKON is a must
read for those who enjoy the art of good writing as well as the
thrill of pendulous emotion." Linda Dominique Grosvenor, Author of
The Hamptons, Fever, Bloom, and Like Boogie on Tuesday says, "I must
highly recommend You Beckon by Peggy Eldridge-Love. They say poetry
is subjective but I beg to differ, "First Fruits: A Wedding
Lullaby," "Cold Fever," "Wall Flower" and "Go" (a simple yet urgent
plea) just to name a few herald the love and appreciation of this
collection."
