Felix Culpepper International, Inc. and Author Peter R. Culpepper join Kansas City Author Tari M. Cooley in support of her "Operation Books for the Brave."
Author Tari M. Cooley has spearheaded the impressive effort to send hundred's of books to our brave military heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan. Through networking, Peter R. Culpepper learned of this wonderful effort and decided to join in solidarity with her and others to help as well.
Talbott, Tennessee (PRWEB) November 25, 2003 -- Author Peter R. Culpepper of Felix Culpepper International, Inc. has sent 154 copies of its first book, "Brownie The Lonely Dragon" to the children in Iraq and Afghanistan under the auspices of "Operation Books for the Brave."
Mr. Culpepper learned of "Operation Books for the Brave" through networking. Author Tari M. Cooley has spearheaded the effort, and is donating profits from her own book, "Defending A Nation" to benefit America's brave men and women, who in her words "are a symbol of our nation's strength, unity and hope."
Mr. Culpepper sent his 154 copies to Ms. Cooley, who in turn is sending the books, along with copies of "Defending A Nation", to Iraq and Afghanistan. There, our brave soldiers will distribute the book "Brownie The Lonely Dragon" to the children in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This unique children's book is about accepting and respecting people with differences, and believing in self. Therefore, it is perfect for children anywhere throughout the world, and can help foster peace and goodwill for all humankind.
"Brownie The Lonely Dragon" was first written by Mr. Culpepper as a child, illustrated by a child cancer survivor (his older daughter) who is a Make-A-Wish child, and the book is in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the first and only children's book in this regard.
Furthermore, Mr. Culpepper will donate $25,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a result of any sales of "Brownie The Lonely Dragon."
