SwapandPlay.com, owned by UK-based Sucofocus Limited, allows its members to create a list of all their movies, games and music for their friends, neighbours and colleagues to view online, thus making borrowing easier. Users can also search, contact and meet other members in their town, work place and university to borrow media for free.

The SwapandPlay.com website currently has over 400 members borrowing 700 movies, 100 games, 700 music from each other. The website warns of the pitfalls of downloading free films, games and music from illegal websites and anonymous peer-to-peer networks: poor quality, incomplete downloads, time wasting, computer viruses and hackers Trojan horses.
