New Space For The Creator

Writers, musicians, photographers and graphic artists acquired new space on the Internet with the launch of CreatorsWeb Internet Publishing. Creative types submit writing, music, photographs, graphics, and links pointing to their own websites. When material is submitted, CreatorsWeb interviews the submitter and then writes an article based on the interview. The article is published on the CreatorsWeb network of web sites. A reciprocating link back to CreatorsWeb is all that is asked in return for this service.

There are so many excellent artists who have so much to share," says Ken Mowery, the founder and editor of CreatorsWeb. But most of them never get invited to the dance by the big publishing companies,"Mowery adds. It is an injustice that he seeks to counter with his website by offering creators a means of promoting themselves and their art.

Mowery has been involved with the Internet since 1995 when he started building websites for churches and his musician friends. He comments, Once I realized that the Internet gave us access to a global audience, I saw it as my duty almost to help people get their message out there."

Mowerys endeavors have not brought economic profits. According to him, Ive given away so many websites. Ive spent a lot more money than Ill probably ever make." CreatorsWeb is Mowerys private crusade to help creative people show their stuff".

Although CreatorsWeb does not host streaming media, Mowery believes that the service he offers will provide substantial promotion to anyone that participates.
