ITSOKAY COMPANY launches first game just in time for the holiday shopping season

There is a new game that wants to "race" into your home. The first game released by the ITSOKAY COMPANY, Race for the Checkered, is an ever changing points battle playing card and die game that will enthrall the players into the world of stock car racing.

SALAMANCA,New York (PRWEB) November 25, 2003 - President Barbara Pond, ITSOKAY COMPANY, said "We have a passion for racing and my husband, Leroy and I have supported three local stock car racing teams this past year. Our love for this sport has taken us to developing, designing, and dedicating many hours into the game, which became a reality this year". ITSOKAY COMPANY started in 1999 with an idea to make a game that was not a video game, easy to learn, portable to take on camping trips etc., and provide interaction and fun between the whole family. With hard work and determination, the Company accomplished their goal as Race for the Checkered was released.

The oversized custom-designed die and unconventional playing cards, Race for the Checkered-The Card and Die Game that puts you in the Driver's Seat - give players a glimpse into the world of professional stock car racing. "The die was designed to be oversized because of safety issues with die. It also makes the die "unique" not only because of its size, but also because of the red and green flags with numbers on it," said Barbara Pond. The playing cards are all racing oriented with designs of tires, helmets, steering wheels, and tracks.

Race for the Checkered is featured in the November 2003 issue of Dick Berggren's Speedway Illustrated Magazine in the WHAT's NEW section of the magazine where new products to the market are introduced.

Race for the Checkered will be displayed in a booth at the Toy Fair in New York City in February 2004. Barbara Pond said, "The Toy Fair in New York City is one of the largest toy trade show where manufacturers, distributors, importers, and sales agents present their toys, games, and other products to the toy industry for the next season. Our game, Race for the Checkered, will be there to be seen by many people in the toy industry in February 2004. We are excited about the exposure the Toy Fair extends to the toy and game industry."

Race for the Checkered is only one of the new products on the horizon from the ITSOKAY COMPANY. The Company is working on a board game for Race for the Checkered in the next year. The game, Race for the Checkered, has a registered trademark and 2002 copyright date - Leroy and Barbara Pond. All rights reserved. Made in USA.

ITSOKAY COMPANY founded and managed by Barbara Pond is headquartered in Salamanca, New York. The ITSOKAY COMPANY name came about because as a breast cancer survivor, Barbara felt that even during her most difficut times, everything would be okay. Therefore, when it was time to find a name for her company, Barbara felt the name ITSOKAY would be a fitting name for her company.

Race for the Checkered is currently sold at her company website at http://www.raceforthecheckered.com and also at Phoenix Arena, Hamburg, New York.
