Group of Indian Web Developers Launched

The first, one-of-its kind association for Software & Web Developers.

Group of Indian Web Developers (GIWD) www.giwd.org launched at Amritsar on 24/11/2003 offers individuals, students and organizations a variety of resources and career development opportunities in the areas of Web, Multimedia, and Software Development. The GIWD strives to maintain a balance by low-cost, efficient operation and yet to provide maximum benefits to its members.

The Group of Indian Web Developers is a professional association whose primary objective is to unite, inform and represent the developers of Indian Sub-Continent.

GIWD is the first and only-of-it's-kind organization in India that lays guidelines for ethical and professional standards for individuals and businesses dedicated to web and software development. This association is organized solely for the benefit of its members. Members shall be dedicated to self-development, sharing ideas, and developing professional contacts. GIWD members shall be guided by GIWD's Standards of Professional Practices and Code of Ethics in their professional conduct to provide superior service to their clients.
