NBC'S HIT REALITY SHOW 'FEAR FACTOR' TO SEARCH DALLAS ON DECEMBER 7: CASTING DIRECTORS SEEKING BOTH FAMILY CONTESTANTS AND REGULAR CONTESTANTS
Open Casting Call Takes Place at GameWorks

BURBANK CA (PRWEB) November 28, 2003 -- NBC's hit reality series, "Fear Factor" will conduct a special search in Dallas for a bevy of bold and fascinating contestants (families and regular individuals) by holding an open casting call at GameWorks in the Grapevine Mills Mall -- 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, #525, Grapevine, TX 76051 -- on December 7th from 12pm-4pm.
In addition to searching for the usual brave and daring thrill seekers, Fear Factor" is currently producing another family version and requesting all eager parent/child teams (one parent and one child) to meet with Casting Directors. Children must be between the ages of 11 and 13 as of December 2003. In addition, all energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing contestant candidates who are at least 21 years of age are also encouraged to attend. All potential contestants should bring a pen, recent photo and proper ID.

The much-discussed program Fear Factor" (Mondays 8-p.m. PT) pits real people against each other, extreme challenges -- and themselves -- with hopes of taking home a cash prize of $50,000 at the end of each one-hour episode. In each episode hosted by Joe Rogan, contestants must decide if they have the guts and determination to face their most primal fears. The special Family episode features Parent/Child teams competing against other family teams in the usual Fear Factor" format. The debut episode of Family Fear Factor" premiered Monday, November 24, 2003 at 8pm ET/PT.
This season, "Fear Factor" is impressively winning the Monday 8 p.m. ET hour with an average 5.6 rating, 15 share among adults 18-49 and 13.0 million viewers overall. "Fear Factor" is the seasons fastest growing-network reality series versus year-ago results with a 14 percent increase in 18-49 and a 16 percent gain in total viewers.
