The Russians are coming: Hi-Tech systems to USA for 20 million USD
Transit switches to USA for 20 million USD for ILD carrier "Callax Telecom Holding". Next step after Germany.

Another contract for the U.S. to be extended up to 20 millions USD!
During ITU Telecom 2003 in Geneva, Switzerland, on 14.10.2003, STROM telecom (part of JSC Concern Scientific Center" holding, headquartered in Zelenograd, Russia) concluded a contract for supply of its digital switching systems (Application: transit exchanges MEDIO TX) for Callax Telecom Holding". The first transit switch is to be installed in New-York, its capacity to be about 420 T1. Also it has to support STM1 interfaces and 165 T1 interfaces should be realized over 10DS3 interfaces. MEDIO system will support ANSI signaling, as well as T1 interface. Total contract amount is to be 20 millions USD.
Callax Telecom Holding" is an alternative long-distance operator. It provides international long-distance services.
