Nature's Place Therapy Celebrates Arrival of New Babies with Heartwarming Bondfire

Natures Place Therapy, Inc. extends a warm welcome to the entire community to share a special afternoon with family and friends in an old fashioned way. Remember the times sitting around a campfire? Conversation and good food often were the highlights of the evening. This is a perfect chance to explore the programs offered at Nature's Place, as well as a great opportunity to spend an afternoon with friends and family. We would especially like to invite those involved in civic organizations , church leaders, and those who are involved in the community to come explore our volunteer needs. We would like to involve the community in mentoring through after school events, animal care, gardening, reading , and most importantly, just spending time with our friends at Nature's Place. Our hippotherapy (horse therapy) program needs four people for each patient session. Take a couple of hours to come check us out, and you may end up changing your corner of the world. Those that attended our evening bonfire, spent a night filled with comfort and joy by taking the chill out of the November night.

This years second fall-cleanup bonfire will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 beginning at 12:00 p.m. to eliminate some of the brush piles around the clinic and to provide an outing that all can enjoy. The bonfire will be lit, controlled, and put out by the City of Davenport Volunteer Fire Department.

As a special treat, the children can chat with the firemen and inspect the fire trucks. Entertainment for the kids also includes outdoor activities. Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras along for family pictures.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided by the clinic. Attendees are invited to bring along a favorite covered dish . Visit or telephone the clinic to sign up for this festivity so that the clinic can provide appropriately. The telephone number is 863-421-0556.
