Bosons new Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate practice test for the certification exam JN0-201 was released with version 5.17 of the Boson software. This test consists of 204 questions that cover the full objectives of its respective certification exam, and can be purchased at www.boson.com for $39.95.
The JN0-201 JNCIA Exam was designed by Juniper for the experienced networking professional who has acquired basic knowledge of the Juniper Networks M-series Routers, T-series Routing Platforms, and the JUNOS Software. The written portion of the exam tests a candidate's understanding of Internet technology, related platform configuration and troubleshooting skills. Exam objectives for the JNCIA-M (JN0-201) exam can be found by accessing Junipers website or at http://www.juniper.net/training/certification/resources_jnciam.html. Candidates are given 60 minutes to complete the 60 multiple choice question exam. To receive certification, candidates must receive a score of 70% and their certification is valid for two years. The JNCIA-M exam is the first Juniper certification exam most candidates attempt, however it is not a prerequisite for the Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JN0-302) exam.
The JNCIS-M (JN0-302) exam is also available by Boson Software, as is a Juniper Practice Lab. The Boson JN0-302 (JNCIS) exam covers basic to advanced concepts dealing with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS; network architecture; multicast protocols; and Juniper's router architecture and JUNOS configuration, including its newest features. The Juniper Practice Lab by Boson is intended to enhance a students Juniper configuration skills, increase their knowledge of the IS-IS protocol, and instruct them on how to configure it on Juniper routers. 30 core and 3 optional objectives are included. The goal of this practice lab is to increase the test takers knowledge of the ISIS protocol and to familiarize them with virtually all the configuration commands available in JUNOS for ISIS. The intent of this lab is not to familiarize the test taker with the JNCIE lab, but rather increase their skills and in so doing bring them up to par with what is expected of a JNCIE. A fully detailed explanation of the Boson Juniper Practice lab and a complete listing of practice tests offered by Boson Software can be found at www.boson.com.
