Mrs. Georgia Globe, Angeline Butler, hits top scores at the Mrs. US Globe Pageant in Palm Springs, CA

Mrs. Georgia, Angeline Butler, received the coveted Globe Award for the Mrs.US Globe 2003 "Face of the Year" and finishes 5th runner up in the 2003 pageant. Angeline also won a $15,000 S.M.I.L.E. make over from Dr. Erich Herber of California, part of the S.M.I.L.E. campaign program offered to pageant participants and the Right Living (www.rightliving.tv)program.

Alpharetta, GA - Angeline Butler of Alpharetta, GA was crowned Mrs. Georgia Globe 2003. As the new Mrs. Georgia, she represented Georgia in the Mrs. US Globe contest in July of 2003.

Angeline is married to Kevin Butler, and they have a daughter, Mia. Angeline was an Atlanta Falcons cheerleader for 3 years, and cheered in Super Bowl XXXIII. Mrs. Butler is an accomplished business woman and is employeed as the Southeast Wholesale Mortgage Division representative for RBC Mortgage (Royal Bank of Canada). She is also a very talented dancer and professional singer. Mrs. Butler's mother was Miss Alabama (America) in 1965, and a Mezzo-Soprano for the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

The Mrs. US Globe contest is more than just a pageant. It is a fundraiser for the Women In Need Foundation, a non- profit crisis counceling and educational outreach for women faced with abuse. Angeline is the state spokesperson for the W.I.N. Foundation.
Angeline will continue to bring the mesage of hope and healing of W.I.N. to Georgia. Says the new title holder, "Abuse is one of the worst kept secrets. It affects twice as many women as it does breast cancer. As the new Mrs. Georgia, I hope to share the message that abuse is not a disease, but a learned behavior, therefore the power to heal is within our reach."
