Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) December 3, 2003 --Venerable Zen Master Sheng-yen will make a rare visit to Vancouver, December 19-21, 2003. Events will include a public talk at Canada Place and a press conference at Plaza 500 Hotel. Venerable Sheng-yen's last visit to Vancouver was in 1995
The Public Talk "True Peace Lies in a Peaceful Mind" will be held at Canada Place from 2:00-4:30PM on Saturday, December 20. Venerable Sheng-yen will speak on Buddhist's practices of compassion that encourage a peaceful mind, and how to embrace uncertainty during difficult times.
