Southern California has a new team.

The Kwicherbichen Bikini Team is the newest contender on the short list of promotional bikini teams throughout the country. The team is made up 16 models from the Southern Claifornia area and is still recruiting.

The Kwicherbichen Bikini Team was thought up in mid 2003 as a sort of novelty to attract vistors to the quickly growing niche performance boating website called "Kwicherbichen.com". The site caters to the hot boat scene in the Southwest, primarily focusing on the Colorado river areas. Shortly after launching the site Brian Sawyer, the site creator, discovered that performance boaters from all over the world were showing an interest. One of the website's unique features is it's Boat, Babe, and Cocktail of the Month. It was those features that attracted models to the site to be featured.

Also discovering the website was Mr. Kim Riley a professional photographer from the San Diego area. Riley contacted Sawyer about shooting models for the site and after several conversations, the idea of a bikini team was bounced around. They agreed that they would give it a shot with 5 models. In just a couple weeks the two were slammed with emails from models all over the world wanting to join the team. After reviewing hundreds of pictures and resumes Sawyer and Riley settled with the current members that are anchored by top models such as Tiffany Lang, Aimee Bryant, Meriah Nelson, Candy Lee, and Heather Betts.

WIth the team stablizing they began looking for exposure and appearances. Team members recently appeared at the Palms Casino Las Vegas for a competition hosted by Universe Television in conjunction with Playboy scramble golf. Members also recently shot for Ultra Custom Boats in El Cajon. Ultra Custom Boats is a top builder of extreme custom power boats that have appeared in TV shows like Fear Factor.

Plans for the Kwicherbichen Bikini Team include securing a swimsuit sponsor, developing partnerships, creating posters, calendars, and making appearances.
