Continental Seating introduces 21 new home entertainment furniture products

Choices, choices, choices… innovation continues at a rapid pace at Continental Seating. Driven by a goal to support Dealers and their customers with choices, Continental Seating is introducing 21 new home entertainment seating styles.

(PRWEB) December 4, 2003 --Choices, choices, choices. Innovation continues at a rapid pace at Continental Seating. Driven by a goal to support Dealers and their customers with choices, Continental Seating is introducing 21 new home entertainment seating styles.

"Innovation, superior order fulfillment, and sublime customer service have always been, and will always be the declaration of our identity. This latest round of product introduction demonstrates our manufacturing range and capabilities. There are not many sole-source manufactures in the market today that have mastered the construction of high-end custom stationary and motion seating for entertainment rooms," stated Keith M. Jensen.

During the recent CEDIA show in Indianapolis, the company strategy regarding choices crystallized. In almost every customer focus session conducted by the company President, Dealers shared stories about lost sale opportunities. Looking further into the causes of lost sales, 98% of the time it was related to a lack of choice.

"We recognize that not everyone wants to install classic home theatre seating (i.e. rows of reclining seats with cup holders). Our response has been swift and complete. Capitalizing on our power of innovation, we shifted the R&D team into high gear. Within four weeks after returning from the CEDIA show we had completed designs and built our first prototypes. While others introduce one or two new seats, we introduce 21," noted Adam Cox.

Continental Seating has organized the full-line of seating choices into two segments;

Grand Tier, Luxury Home Theater Seating. Within the Grand Tier collection are the original 16 styles of hardwood modular home theater seating which put Continental Seating on the map. Continental Seating continues to offer these custom, build to order seats in 6 leather grades including 160 different colors, and COM (customer own material).

Center Stage, A new collection of home entertainment, multi-use seating designed for furnishing living centers, game rooms, and home theaters. The collection includes stationary chairs, ottomans, cinema sofas, and home theater sectionals which compliment the Grand Tier home theater seating designs. The collection was assembled in this manner to allow consumers to mix and match seating types, and maintain a consistent look or theme within the room. The same set of designer leathers and COM program available in the Grand Tier, are available to cover seats in this collection.

With a four week turnaround on seating orders, Continental Seating can deliver seating to its customers in time for New Year celebrations.
