Regency Hospital Opens in Hattiesburg

Regency Hospital Company opens seventh hospital.

ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA (PRWEB) December 2, 2003 – Regency Hospital Company today announced the opening of its newest hospital, Regency Hospital of Hattiesburg located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Regency Hospital is a 33-bed hospital located within Forrest General Hospital. Regency is a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital that treats medically complex patients who have suffered recent catastrophic illness or injury and require an extended length of stay in an acute care environment.

The hospital began taking patients on November 17, 2003. A grand opening celebration is being planned to introduce the hospital to the healthcare community in the next few months.
