UpSellUSA Releases Learning Incentive Management System

UpSellUSA, a Seattle online training and incentive solution provider announced the launch to their Learning Incentive Management system today.

SEATTLE WA (PRWEB) December 4, 2003 --UpSellUSA announced the release of a unique Learning Incentive Management (LIM) solution.

The Seattle-based company developed a system which provides learning incentives to employees, sales staff, corporate partners and resellers. Linking online learning with a points-based incentive system, UpSellUSA developed a program which proves that better trained employees or partners, improve performance, productivity and sales. When UpSellUSA's LIM solution is implemented along with sales training, dramatic increases in product sales are realized.

UpSellUSA was brought in to create a solution for Microsoft, which would provide learners with the motivation to participate in training, with the purpose of increasing partner sales. "We developed a Learning Incentive Management system which encourages participation and completion of online training courses. Four months after launching Ready, Set, Go -- the LIM program we developed exclusively for Microsoft -- more than 24,000 courses had been successfully completed and sales for participating Microsoft partners and resellers increased between 30% and 300%," says Wendy Tinker, President and CEO. "Developing online training can be costly, yet many corporations have found web-delivered training to be an effective way to reduce travel expenses and reach a wide-ranging group of learners. However, getting people to actually take the training, and retain what they've learned, has been a challenge. With this in mind, we developed a points-based online incentive program which rewards learners for taking training courses. As a result, we've found companies see a dramatic increase in training attendance, which relates in a real way to an increase in the bottom line. Simply put, a well-trained sales force or reseller channel means increased sales."

Learning Incentive Management is just beginning to gain awareness. While training directors hope that employees utilize online training, the fact is, with limited time and multiple priorities, participation in training is not a priority for most people. Rewards give the push that people need to participate.
