New England / NY / NJ (PRWEB0 December 2 2003-- has a Snowboard Events Calendar Now
Snowboard races, competitions, clinics and camps, can now be found easily in one place at the online events calendar at http://www.WhatsonSnow.com. Over 85 events at more than 25 mountains are listed so far, happening now through May 2004, and the resorts are still checking in with more listings. Televised national events are listed as well.
The calendar was started by snowboarder Lauren Traub Teton of Pound Ridge NY. "Once I got interested in racing, I was looking for clinics and events to compete in, and there was no central directory. I would have to check each mountain separately. I said 'wouldn't it be great if there was a snowboard events calendar?' There wasn't, so I built it!"
Teton has another snowboard site at http://www.SnowBoardSecrets.com . "It's a friendly snowboard magazine-style site where we share tips that can make a snowboarder's life safer and more comfortable. We want to hear from our readers and we keep in touch with them with an informative newsletter.
"I think snowboarding is a great sport for people of all ages. I never could ski well enough to enjoy it, but I love snowboarding. It's the first sport I've ever been good at" says Teton.
