NORCENT TECHNOLOGY NAMES DIRECTOR OF SALES

Long-Time Industry Professional Greg Slanaker Selected as Director of Sales for Consumer Electronics and Computer Peripherals Company.

San Dimas, CA -- Norcent Technology, Inc., a marketer of high-quality, affordably priced home entertainment and computer peripheral products, has named Greg Slanaker as Director of Sales. His duties include managing the company's day-to-day and long-term objectives relating to key accounts. He brings over 25 years of consumer electronics sales and marketing experience to the position.

"Greg's many years of highly successful consumer electronics experience will serve us well as we continue to grow and become a brand of choice in the U.S.," said Norcent Senior Vice President of Sales, M. Jeannie Vogler. "We were fortunate to secure someone with his industry and product knowledge for this strategic position."

Slanaker's career includes sales and management positions working at or representing some of the industry's most recognized names, as well as running his own successful rep. firm. Before accepting the Norcent position, Slanaker was the National Sales Manager for Taiwan-based America Action, a manufacturer of a variety of LCD audio/video and multimedia products. Other positions he has held include National Accounts Manager for Sanyo Fisher Company, where he was responsible for all of its Mexican efforts; and Senior Vice President of the rep. firm of Byron-Season Associates, where he represented companies such as Fuji Film, Epson Home Office, and Jensen Car Audio.

He also owned his own rep. firm, representing companies such as Samsung Electronics, Fox Electronics, Avanti Products, and Harada Antennas.

In addition to his professional work experience, Slanaker has participated in many industry and sales-related classes and programs to keep abreast of the latest trends and techniques. These include the Society of Audio Consultants, Sales Training Institute, and Dale Carnegie programs.
He was honored numerous times with "Rep of the Year" awards from Samsung Electronics and Byron-Season Associates.

He and his family live in Huntington Beach, California, where he enjoys bicycling, exercising, and actively helping out in his children's activities.
