With all of the Nutcrackers around the southland, you have your choice of what complete production you want to see. But, have you ever wondered how dancer's get to the finished product that you always see?
On Saturday December 13, 2003, join Lambco as they take away the sets and orchestra to give you an up close and personal demonstration on the preparation of classical dance art.
The Los Angeles Modern and Ballet Company is LA's newest premier dance company. Its innovative approach to classical dance art is really shaping the way dance is received in Los Angeles.
Headed by the youngest Artistic Director in the country, Omhmar Griffin, the company is really fashioning a fresh contemporary look. Omhmar began his professional career at the age of 14 with the International Youth Ballet. Two years later he joined the Kennedy Center's Washington Ballet. Since then, he has added many Ballet, Broadway, Film&Television and Tour credits to his resume including dancing for Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill and Filter. The young prodigy hopes to "break the esoteric feeling of Ballet in Los Angeles."
