Menasha, WI (PRWEB) December 9, 2003
The United States postal service recently authorized use of oversized post cards cut into custom shapes. For as little as a dollar you can now mail out Âsuper-sized postcards cut into a shape of your choice.
Instead of the mailing the ever popular 6 by 4 inch card of yesteryear, you can now mail out cards shaped like your clients business products: theyÂre perfect for getting noticed. Imagine sending a soccer ball shaped postcard to your sporting clients, or a shoe shaped card to a shoe manufacturer, and what about sending a card flower to your florist!
ÂThe possibilities and choices are endless, just so long as you follow the US Postal rules. explained Jamie Dolan. ÂIt is very important that your piece is designed and cut properly, and fits within the new Âsuper size dimensions. When your cards get to the post office it's too late. If you find out something isnÂt just right, thatÂs a very costly mistake. Mr. Dolan is the President of Ashwood Inc. a Menasha based Media and Marketing consulting firm.
Capitalizing on the US Postal ServiceÂs newest post card format, Ashwood, Inc. announced plans to create and distribute all shapes and sizes of the post cards for their clientele nation wide. ÂI believe that this is a valuable new tool that can and should be added to a companies marketing mix. The key is to also make sure your marketing message is saying the right thing. said Jamie Dolan.
Initial reports are encouraging; the demand for the new post cards is impressive. According to Dolan, there are few printers offering the new service at this point, and he is proud to be one of the first to offer the service.
