Intune Telecom To Merge With Accell Cellular
New York based InTune Telecom, a prepaid integrated telecommunications provider, and Accell, a prepaid cellular company headquartered in Hartford, CT, announce that they have entered into discussions with the intent to merge. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2004.

InTune Telecom is a pioneer in the marketing of local and long distance phone service by being one of the first companies to allow residential consumers to make unlimited local and long distance calls for a flat-monthly fee. For commercial customers InTune Telecom technology guarantees a minimum 20% savings with a potential of up to 40%. InTune Telecom's technology sends phone calls through a hybrid VOIP/fiber network, which is a significantly cheaper delivery vehicle than over a traditional fiber network.
Accell sells it's pre-paid cellular services through retail chains, its web site and its state of the art call center. Accell has a national foot print utilizing carriers like Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile. ACCELL sells phones from such known manufacturers as Nokia, LG, Samsung and Motorola.
