Betty Martini Speaks on the Health Risks of Aspartame on Good Politics Radio

Betty Martini, the founder of Mission Possible International, is now on Good Politics Radio discussing the numerous health issues relating to the common soft drink sweetener, aspartame.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) December 9, 2003 --Betty Martini, the world renown spokesperson on the hazards and health issues relating to the artificial sweetener, Aspartame, can now be heard on the progressive internet radio program, GoodPoliticsRadio.com .

Betty Martini is the founder of the worldwide volunteer force, Mission Possible International, which is committed to removing the deadly chemical aspartame from our food. This poison has brought more complaints to the American Food and Drug Administration than any other additive and is responsible for 75% of such complaints to that agency. From 10,000 consumer complaints FDA compiled a list of 92 symptoms, including death.

Betty has a great interest in medical research and the consumer's right to know. She believes its despicable that the FDA, the manufacturers, and professional organizations it funds get away with lying to the public, not even acknowledging that aspartame is a drug that reacts with other drugs consumers may be taking.

Three congressional hearings were held on aspartame and books by renowned doctors have exposed its hazards, but the public is lulled to sleep by constant advertising and the FDA seal of approval, even though the FDA themselves originally asked for indictment of the manufacturer.

Betty decided to wake up the world. Using the Internet to create an international audience and enlist an army of activists she has sustained a constant campaign to expose the potential dangers of Aspartame which could destroy our minds, our health, kill our unborn, disable our children and eliminate our sexual capacity and pleasure with a chemical poison so toxic the National soft Drink Association protested against its approval (Congressional Record, May 7, l985, S5505).

Recently H. J. Roberts, M.D. published a 1,000 page medical text: Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic ( www.aspartameispoison.com ) which is the most comprehensive study of this world plague. In l984 Dr. Roberts was recognized by the national medical publication Practice 84 as the best doctor in the United States. He dedicated his book to Betty Martini, because she had collected thousands of case histories relating to aspartame consumption. An award winning website called www.WNHO.net by Dr. P. Bradley Carey offers a river of aspartame facts with much of Betty's work.

The primary purpose of Good Politics Radio is to give people a commercial-free access to hear their political candidates and important issues without the usual rhetoric and mud-slugging commonly hear on traditional media.
