DEL REY RELEASES HANDYGRAPH 1.1 SOFTWARE FOR MICROSOFT WORD X
Mac OS X users can now quickly mix blank graphs with text.
Eureka, Montana - December 5, 2003 - Del Rey Incorporated today announced the release of the Word X version of HandyGraph(R) software. HandyGraph creates custom grids and blank graphs within Microsoft(R) Word documents, and is used extensively by teachers and professionals for mixing graphs with text. HandyGraph for Word X closely resembles its counterparts in other versions of Word. The graphical interface has been enhanced to give an OS X appearance.
The HandyGraph window, launched from the toolbar in Word, offers a straightforward format to specify features of each blank graph before inserting it into the document. Linear graphs, logarithmic graphs, and number lines can be produced quickly in any size and number range. The user can customize the axis labels, including the use of pi and fractions, and specify grid spacing and colors. Once created, graphs may be moved and edited with ease.
HandyGraph is great for presentations, art projects, or for making worksheets. When math and science teachers require students to graph on exams and handouts, they use HandyGraph to provide templates for graphing right next to the questions.
Pricing and Availability
HandyGraph 1.1 is available for use on both Macintosh(R) and Windows(R) operating systems, and must be used in conjunction with Microsoft(R) Word: Word XP (2002), 2000, or 97 on Windows or Word v.X, 2001, or 98 on the Mac.
An evaluation version of HandyGraph may be downloaded freely from www.handygraph.com. For a licensed copy without limitations, the product may be registered for $21.95 at the same web site. CD-ROM copies may be purchased for an additional $8.00 (shipped to U.S. addresses only), and site licenses are offered at a discounted rate.
