New Website Helps U.S. Soldiers Find Solutions to Military-Related Problems
SmartSoldier.com originally began as an anonymous online forum for new military recruits, but has recently seen a large amount of questions posted about military discharges and other legal matters associated with the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Fort Bragg, NC (PRWEB) December 9, 2003 --A new site on the World Wide Web enables current US military personnel and new recruits to seek advice from other members of the Armed Forces. SmartSoldier.com provides its 2100 members an anonymous forum in which they can ask questions and share knowledge about topics that previously were not discussed due to a lack of such a resource.
The site, launched last March by a group of Army Infantrymen in hopes of helping new enlistees deal with military recruiters, has grown to attract active duty and reserve component members from all branches of the military in search of solutions to a wide variety of problems that they are facing.
We started SmartSoldier.com to help soldiers share their knowledge and experiences-", said William Fernandez, one of the sites founders, and although we didnt anticipate questions about going AWOL and being discharged, we will continue to allow free discussions among our members."
Only a few months old, SmartSoldier.com has dozens of thank you" emails pouring in each week for its role in helping Armed Forces personnel and their families find the information that they need. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing that you really made a difference in the lives of American servicemen and women", Fernandez stated proudly.
