Utilities, retailers and affinity groups share of personal insurance distribution grew by 7 per cent and banks and building societies share grew by 2 per cent.
The total personal insurance market is forecast to be worth 20.7 billion by 2008. The private motor is forecast to show much slower growth in the next five years.
