Fastbuzz, a unique integration of RSS aggregation, searching and email delivery

Fastbuzz, a free service, provides news aggregation and searching. Users can look up news online or have it delivered to their mailbox. The integrated search engine acts as an automated clipping service.

BERKELEY, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2003 --Zapatec, Inc. announced today Fastbuzz (http://www.fastbuzz.com), a free service that simplifies tracking daily news from online newspapers, mailing lists, forums, blogs and other diverse news sources. Users can opt for email delivery or view news online and choose which sources they would like to track. Additionally, they can search articles and save search configurations. Fastbuzz runs saved searches repeatedly so that users find out when new articles meet their search criteria.

Other services provide ways to either aggregate, search, or receive email updates about news," says Dror Matalon, president of Zapatec. "With Fastbuzz, we combine all these features in one package. A typical user goes several times a day to sites like the New York Times, BBC News, Cnet, Craig's list, numerous blogs and mailing lists. Fastbuzz provides an aggregated view of these resources so users can look at all their news in one place, on Fastbuzz. And with our integrated search engine Fastbuzz can act as an automated clipping service."

Fastbuzz makes it easy to find information on anything through the depth and breadth of its search and feed functionality. For customers who need to conduct research on anything from vintage cars to cell phones, Fastbuzz accesses sources ranging from online publications to hard to find forums - giving customers both mainstream news and feeding them the "buzz" on the street. Fastbuzz polls channels as often as every fifteen minutes, providing a continuous stream of news. And with tens of thousands of channels and many more added daily, Fastbuzz helps customers keep track of the latest buzz, not only in traditional media, but also in blogs, forums, and mailing lists.
