Portland, OR, December 8, 2003 - The Association of Language Companies (The ALC) has announced the keynote speaker for its 2nd Annual Conference, "Leadership and Profit", to be held in Washington DC from June 9 - 12, 2004. Dr. Sheila Ramsey, founder of the Crestone Institute, will kick off the conference with a presentation entitled "When are you a Manager - When are you a Leader?"
Dr. Ramsey is known internationally for her work in intercultural relations, international leadership development and the facilitation of individual and group creativity. Her clients include The US Census Bureau, Dupont, The US Environmental Protection Agency, The US Justice Department, The US State Department, The US Peace Corps, and The Smithsonian Institution.
