Dallas,TX (PRWEB) December 11, 2003
Nubella LLC, formed in 2002 and dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of consumers, collaborated with a team from the University of Texas at AustinÂs McCombs School of Business on a semester-long project that critiques local area ventures and their respective business models. Throughout the semester, a team of four students from the class of 2004 fully analyzed NubellaÂs business model, operational structure, growth plans, marketing strategy, financial projections, and much more, as the group evaluated the viability and sustainability of NubellaÂs overall product and service proposition. On December 1, 2003, the team presented their analysis and overall recommendations for the company.
ÂWe believe that Nubella has the potential to be an important player in the long neglected smart nutrition space, stated Ben Gawiser, project lead (class of 2004). ÂNubella has the ability to combine their expertise in technology and publishing to deliver a one-to-one marketing channel to consumers interested in nutrition, added Gawiser. The McCombs School MBA team made recommendations to the Nubella team aimed at enhancing and supporting NubellaÂs existing product offering. Many of the new suggestions focused around harnessing the Internet to better communicate with, and understand NubellaÂs end-consumer.
ÂCollaborating with the team from the McCombs School of Business was an enlightening experience for our entire team, as the MBA studentÂs perspective provides our team with a unique and well researched view on how we are currently pursuing our business proposition, said Matthew Combs, CEO of Nubella LLC. ÂThe entire teamÂs highly inquisitive, and often times skeptical nature, forced our entire team to take a deeper look into our model and make necessary enhances to our ongoing structure accordingly, added Combs.
The MBA team has passed along a 16-page report and full presentation detailing the full analysis performed by the team. Components contained within the report include product expansion opportunities, valuation review, market size, review of company strengths and weaknesses, and a final review of the overall Nubella venture. In response to the product, Gawiser said, ÂRelative to many other companies their size, Nubella has set themselves up with an impressive sales pipeline, leading to a sustainable revenue model. Nubella has taken a simple idea, bringing good information about nutrition to the average person, and has turned it into a promising venture.Â
