Roache is one of three new significant personnel changes designed to take Pindar Systems to the next level and bring even more value to Pindar Systems customers. Joining Martyn Hope, Vice President of Sales and Operations in Europe, and Patrick OBrien, Vice President of Product Delivery, this team is collectively leading Pindar Systems into 2004 with more than 80 years of experience in the enterprise software, catalog home shopping and retail marketplaces.
David Roache, CEO
Roache is charged with guiding Pindar Systems management and strategic direction. He brings a wealth of related experience and proven performance. Roache joins Pindar Systems from Profile Systems, Inc., a provider of product information software and related supply chain applications, where he developed and implemented the companys strategy and accelerated its sales growth. Prior to Profile Systems, Roache was COO of Kewill E-Commerce, a provider of supply chain applications for retailers and catalogers that grew from $5M to $53M during his tenure, and held several executive positions within R.R. Donnelleys Information Services businesses in both the U.S and Europe providing software and services to retailers, catalogers and technology companies.
Martyn Hope, Vice President Sales and Operations, Europe
Hope is responsible for Pindar Systems European sales and consulting operations. Before joining the team at Pindar Systems, Hope was Executive Vice President at Vedaris, a specialist in the ETRM space, and held divisional leadership positions at i2 Technologies, where he grew the Public Marketplaces Division three-fold. He also served at SAP, the worlds most successful enterprise software house, where he personally attained in excess of 30 million pounds of license sales, and created a new business division, growing it five-fold during his tenure.
Hope has already put together a world-class sales team with more than 50 years of collective experience in enterprise sales.
Patrick OBrien, Vice President of Product Delivery
OBrien is leading the Product Development, Product Management and Marketing efforts at Pindar Systems. Before joining Pindar Systems, OBrien served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Iona Technology, the leading provider of CORBA middleware infrastructure technology. Prior to Iona, OBrien held several senior positions in engineering, product management and product marketing at Object Design during his 8-year tenure. OBrien serves on the Board of the Object Management Group, and is part of the Executive Committee of JCP.
