HI-POD (Xtreme Camera Monopod) Joins CANON Booth for DV EXPO

HI-POD introduces the pan, tilt, zoom, monitor at eye-level "pick it up and go" 15-foot monopod. The product will be on display at the CANON booth during the DV EXPO at the Los Angeles Convention Center (12/10- 12/12)

(PRWEB) December 10, 2003 -- HI-POD will be introducing the HI-POD X1-P product to the West Coast at the DV EXPO this week. (12/10/03-12/12/03) The X1-P functions like a camera crane without the counter-weight problems of a crane. The light-weight X1-P gives the one-person operator the ability to extend a camera six to fifteen feet in the air (and any height in between), and provides the operator with full control of pan, tilt, zoom, and monitoring of video signal at eye level.

The pick it up and go" X1-P will be showcasing CANONs GL2 camera as a perfect companion to the HI-POD. The X1-Ps speed, mobility and altitude and the GL2s amazing 20 magnification optical lens make this combination a perfect match for sports and news events.

Based on the HI-POD's overwhelming success at the ShowbizExpo in Chicago (11/7-11/8), and at the Government Video Expo last Week in Washington D.C. (12/3-12/4) the HI-POD company will begin a tour of free training at all new dealer locations across the United States starting in January.
