Who are we?

Thedropzone.co.nz was started after a trip to Europe to see the different technologies around the world. We decided to create a place we you could come and get a solutions for a given problem in IT (information technology). There are so many solutions now to the same problem but so many people are not given an alternative to the 'Microsoft World'. This is not an anti Microsoft site just a place to get different solutions. We have over 20 years combined experience and have MSCE, CNE and ASE certified engineers to assist you. We have experience in the Open source arena, which is now an important part of the Computer and IT world. Open Source is Linux a free non-commercial and commercial product. To the home user it's free so that's a big bonus. Open office is basically the same as Microsoft office and its cheaper and as easy to use. We offer a wild range of services to you from firewalls to computer service, web site design to logos and much more. Our newest product is DVB-S satellite TV on your pc. We offer the ability to watch free to air channels and much more.
