   A division of Judith August Cosmetics Solutions, Showgirl Cosmetics Las Vegas can now be found in Henri Bendels on West 57th Street. New Yorkers and tourists alike are sure to get a kick" out of the Showgirl Kiss" lip lacquer, which comes in four colors -- Red Hot Kiss, Passion Kiss, Champagne Kiss, and Precious Kiss.
Presented in a small bottle shaped like a pair of lips, a Showgirl Kiss" is many things in one package, from a luxurious makeup product to souvenir, a perfect gift item or an amenity for parties, meetings and conventions. Its also a way to have or to give a Kiss for good luck, any day, every day.

   I love Las Vegas but Ill take Manhattan, too," says August. Im thrilled to be able to bring a product to that city that represents Las Vegas. Showgirl Cosmetics is a collaborative effort that brings together a chorus line of talent."

   August, the creator of the product, has brought together artist/designer Glorie Neals and former principal dancer/showgirl Troy Stern-Papameletiou to help design the packaging and market Showgirl Cosmetics. Both women currently reside in Las Vegas.

        Among her numerous credits, Neals has designed and constructed costumes for numerous theater, nightclub, and Las Vegas casino productions, has worked on numerous fashion videos and has been responsible for Haute Couture and boutique fashions for designers including Lauren Nicole Design Studios in Beverly Hills and Bob Mackie. She has worked with the likes of Cher, Stevie Nicks, Joan Collins, Bette Midler, Dolly Parton, Paula Abdul, Deidre Hall, Delta Burke, Traci Lords and Lee Benton.

         Stern-Papameletiou was a dancer in productions from Donn Ardens Hello Hollywood Hello" at the MGM Grand Reno to the Moulin Rouge" show at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, France, and productions in Greece, Japan and Canada. As principal dancer for Fredric Apcar, she appeared in Zing" at Harrahs Reno. Currently, she is a choreographer with her own dance troupe out of Las Vegas that performs in shows all over the country.

         The unique packaging for Showgirl Kiss" began with Stern-Papameletiou, who decorated the clear plastic casing with feathers, rhinestones and more, in tandem with the Showgirl name. Neals then stepped in and furthered embellished the packaging of Showgirl Kiss" to make it even more a product that truly represents the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas image.

         Within the coming months, August and team will have other Showgirl Cosmetics developed. .They include an all-over body glimmer and a body powder with a Maribou feather puff.

         August created Showgirl Cosmetics in honor of Las Vegas, her home since moving from Los Angeles after the devastating 1994 Northridge earthquake. Since the inception of her company, she has specialized in corrective cosmetics. A former model, August spent many years learning how to cover up her own debilitating problem, which was severe fatty deposits under her eyes. After 15 years in front of the camera, she became a cosmetic and image consultant, giving lectures and seminars to womens organizations and corporations and advising celebrities. In the early 1980s, August became the Training Director for her mentor, the Makeup Guru of Beverly Hills," Aida Grey.

         She began Judith August Cosmetic Solutions in 1984 after working with some of the top plastic surgeons and dermatologists in Beverly Hills. Through research, Judith August Cosmetics Solutions has created high performance corrective cosmetics, including foundations, powders, and many types of concealers, for simple to serious cover. Besides covering flaws, the line also serves to enhance ones best features.
