New Literature Available on Colmonoy 64 Alloy
For Applications Requiring High Abrasion Resistance
New data available on Colmonoy 64 nickel-based hardfacing alloy for agricultural equipment and petroleum pump plungers.
Madison Heights, Michigan-Wall Colmonoy Corporation has made available a two-page technical data sheet on Colmonoy 64, a new composite nickel-based alloy containing a 40 percent volume of extremely abrasion resistant tungsten carbide particles (3500 DPH).
The data sheet has detailed information on the chemical and physical properties of Colmonoy 64, and has a 50x photomicrograph which identifies the uniformly dispersed tungsten carbide particles. Methods of application, methods of finishing, typical uses, and lists of base metals that can be overlaid are also provided.
This alloy is ideal for overlays that require a combination of high abrasion resistance and good fuseability. Typical hardfacing applications for Colmonoy 64 are agricultural equipment and petroleum pump plungers.
Colmonoy alloys are manufactured to ISO 9001: 2000 standards. Upon request, a Certificate of Quality Conformance will be provided.
